A. Kishpaugh, Fredericksburg, VA In the early 1900's Robert
Kishpaugh owned and operated Kishpaugh Stationery at
214 William St. in the City.
Besides publishing hundreds
of Fredericksburg are postcards, Kishpaugh is also known for bringing the
first automobile to Fredericksburg in 1907. His 1907 single cylinder Cadillac
was shipped via rail to Fredericksburg. The car broke down the same day
and spent over a year in the shop to repair.
