Alum Springs
The park offers picnicking,
hicking, playground, water activities, rock climbing and is a favorite
spot for GeoCaching.
After spending 5 minutes on one of the trails, you will forget that you're
in the City. As you enter the park you will notice right away that it is
very different than most parks. You have to drive your car through a shallow
river bed (Hazel Run) to
get to the parking area. Once there you will find a very large tree covered
play area for the family. There are plenty of picinic tables to go around
too. Most of the trails focus on either the sping feed stream (Hazel Run)
running through the park or the mountainous rock formations that line many
of the trails.
