Spotsylvania Rookie soccer
plays by most of the FIFA rules. FIFA (Fédération Internationale
de Football Association) is the governing body for soccer in the United
States of America and much of the world.

Law 1: Center field flags
are not used.
Law 2: Due to age, the Cougars
will use a size 3 ball in games.
Law 3: Due to age Substitution
Procedures are not strictly followed.
Law 4: No changes
Law 5: No changes
Law 6: Only one assistant
Referee is used (due to the limited number of referees available).
Law 7: Due to age, 4 10
minutes quarters are played.
Law 8: No changes
Law 9: No changes
Law 10: No changes
Law 11: No changes, Off-Sides
is rarely called at this age group.
Law 12: Yellow and Red cards
are not used at this age group. Though rare, a child can be removed from
the game.
Law 13: No changes
Law 14: No changes
Law 15: No changes
Law 16:: No changes
Law 17: No changes
