The 2000 Fredericksburg
Agricultural Fair hosted a series of wrestling matches on Thursday, August
3, 2000. The matches were rain delayed for about 20 minutes. The first
match started in the rain but the rain did not dampen the excitement or
the intensity of the crowd or wrestlers The first match was 165 pound Frankie
Savage against 190 pound Kid Canada. The kid lost that match but to submission.
The next match was 499 3/4 pound Sinister against 170 pound Dameon
Wild. Dameon took a massive beating, but caught Sinister off guard and
won the match.
