The 2000 Fredericksburg Agricultural Fair hosted a Mud Bog contest on Sun. July 30, 2000. This was the first mud bog that SimplyFredericksburg had the opportunity to attend. If you have never been to one, it is definitely a site to see. The engines roared, mud flew, exhausts smoked, mud flew, tires spun and did we mention that mud flew? There is a scheduled mud bog in mid-September at the fair grounds, check back for more details. The Fredericksburg area is home to several mud truck clubs including Poor Boys 4 Wheel Drive Club in Fredericksburg, (which sponsored the event). The real excitement of the day came halfway through the second division when the Garzilla Jr. truck rocketed across the mud pit. SimplyFredericksburg was lucky enough to get that on video tape and we are sharing the captures of that tape here.
