Stars and Stripes Spectacular
1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Spotsylvania County would like to invite you and your family to the County's Inaugural Spotsylvania Stars and Stripes Spectacular, a celebration of Independence Day.

The event will be held in the Spotsylvania Courthouse Area, and features entertainment by Flumpa, Kids Stuff, Bill Deal's Original Rhondells, The Spotsylvanians, 257th Military Band and the Southern Rain Band.

The activities and entertainment will begin at 1:00 p.m. The activities will include Crafters, Colonial Re-enactors, Historical Building Tours, Volunteer Fire Department, Sheriff's Department, and numerous children's activities and games.

The following Special Presentations will be made: the Water Label Contest Winner, the T-Shirt Logo Design Winner, and a Presentation by Spotsylvania courthouse Tourism and Special Events Commission.

The evening will culminate with fireworks presented by Fire In The Sky.

The Event is Free to the public. Food and drink vendors will be on site for you eating pleasure.

Shuttles will be available for your convenience, from Courtland High School to the Spotsylvania Courthouse Area, between 1:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.

A Fire In The Sky "Pyromusical"

SUNDAY, JULY 3: B101.5 and Spotsylvania County invite you and your family to the County's Inaugural Spotsylvania Stars and Stripes Spectacular, a celebration of Independence Day. The event will be held in the Spotsylvania Courthouse Area, and features great "live" entertainment by

  • Bill Deal's Original Rhondells
  • Flumpa Kids Stuff
  • The Spotsylvanians 257th Military Band
  • The Southern Rain Band

All activities and entertainment are FREE, and begin at 1:00pm, with food and drink vendors on site, and shuttles available for your convenience, from Courtland High School to the Spotsylvania Courthouse Area, between 1:00pm and Midnight.

The evening will culminate at dusk with the area's #1 fireworks display presented by Fire In The Sky, with spectacular shells and effects synchronized to contemporary and patriotic music on B101.5! It will be the BEST display in the state of Virginia!
